IMMIGRATION and NATIONALITY LAW
We undertake a range of immigration work including the work listed below. All work is charged privately to the client and details of fee estimates are included below.

The time frames stipulated by UKVI can range from 1 day to 9 months, though this may take longer depending on the complexities of the case.
All the figures given below are exclusive of VAT, currently at 20%. However, charging VAT in relation to immigration matters may depend on where you live and what immigration permission you have. We will confirm whether VAT is payable when you instruct us and we can work out if VAT is properly chargeable.
Fees quoted include:
- considering documents
- attending on the client
- taking instructions and providing advice
- preparing and submitting the application
- advising on timelines and the outcome of application
The time frames stipulated by UKVI can range from 1 day to 9 months, though this may take longer depending on the complexities of the case.
Fees quoted do not include post-decision work or disbursements (e.g. Counsel’s fees, interpreter’s/translator’s fees, reports)
- Applications for naturalisation or registration under the British Nationality Act 1981 – between £850 and £1500, plus VAT@20%
- Applications on behalf of European Economic Area (EEA) nationals and their family members under the Immigration Rules, including applications for pre-settled and settled status – £250 – £800, plus VAT@20%, per applicant
- Applications under the Immigration Rules, including:
- Student visas and applications – £850 -£1000, plus VAT@20%
- Government exchange scheme – £850, plus VAT @20%
- Visit visas (for tourism or visiting friends / family/ business) – £1000 – £1500, plus VAT @20% if applicable and depending on previous travel history and complexities
- Spouse and partners (entry clearance) – £1500 – £2000; (extensions) – £1500 – £2000, plus VAT@20%
- Fiancé visa – £1500-2000, plus VAT@20%
- Dependent relative – £3000 – £5000, plus VAT@20%, per applicant
- Family reunion – £1000, plus VAT@20%
- Ancestry visa – £1000, plus VAT@20%
- Long residence (10 years) – £1200; (20 years) – £1800, plus VAT@20%
- Other Private life/ family life applications – £1500, plus VAT@20%
- Extensions of Private Life/Family Life – £1000, plus VAT@20%
- Domestic worker visa application – £1500; Subsequent applications- £1200, plus VAT@20% if applicabl
BUSINESS IMMIGRATION
- Sponsor licence applications – £2500 -£3,500, plus VAT@20% (which includes compliance audit, becoming a level 1 user, SMS updates, assigning the Certificate of Sponsporship)
- Stand-alone Compliance audit – £1500, plus VAT@20%
- Skilled worker applications and visas – £1200, plus VAT@20%
- Global business mobility visa and application – £1200, plus VAT@20%
- Religious worker visa and application – £1200, plus VAT@20%
- Innovator visas and applications – £1500, plus VAT @20%
- Global Talent visas- £1500, plus VAT@20%
APPEALS
£2000 to £3000 (excluding disbursements) plus VAT at 20%

Disbursements
Interpreters’ fees can start at £20 per hour, depending on the language and time required.
Counsel’s fees approximately £2,000plus VAT at 20%
Our solicitors have over 20 years’ experience of immigration work and have worked in the voluntary and private sectors.
Valerie Thompson-Sparks has had over 20 years’ experience working in the field of immigration, both in the community and private sector, during which time she has developed knowledge and experience in a wide variety of immigration matters.
Her services include assisting individuals and families outside the UK with applications for visits, to join family members, study and work. For those in the UK her services include extending their leave, gaining settlement and applying for British citizenship.

Koshi Blavo Barna works as an immigration consultant at Moore Solicitors. She qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has been an SRA accredited supervisor since 2007. Koshi has over 20 years’ experience in immigration, nationality, business and corporate immigration.
Koshi was previously head of immigration, and a partner, in a successful medium sized law firm. She has high success rates in her immigration applications and appeals, judicial review applications, points based applications, corporate immigration matters, appeals against sponsor license revocation, business immigration and entry clearance applications.
Koshi acts for several businesses (including multinationals) across multiple industries such as investment banks, accountancy firms, pharmaceuticals and TV companies. She also acts for individuals who wish to come to the UK and those looking to migrate outside the UK.
