Formerly known as Tier 2 sponsor licence, a company is required to submit an application form online for a Sponsor License along with a minimum of four specified supporting documents as evidence of its trading presence in the UK.

Self Sponsorship

Self-sponsorship is the term given to the process whereby an individual submits an application to come and work in the UK using their own company as the sponsor. Through this business, an application for a Skilled Worker Visa/ leave to remain application can be made which can lead to permanent residency ( indefinite leave to remain ) after a period of 5 years and British citizenship a year after. This is totally legitimate and lawful.
